About LUMS Written Exam for EOBI 2024

The Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) is an autonomous body of the Federal Government under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development. It was established under the EOB Act 1976 and performs following core functions:-

• Registration of Employer
• Registration of Employees
• Collection of contribution
• Disbursement of pensions
• Investment of EOB Funds

The affairs of the institution are managed by a tripartite Board of Trustees, which has decided to initiate the recruitment process, including the induction of officers, with the assistance of the leading educational institution LUMS, known for its extensive experience in administering such examinations.

• Executive Officer (Operations Cadre) (Grade-06, Eqv. BPS-16)
• Executive Officer (Office Cadre) (Grade-06, Eqv. BPS-16)

The LUMS Test team is tasked with the scrutiny of candidates, designing, administering, and grading the test, and reporting the results to the Ministry in a professional and fair manner. The eligibility criteria for the candidates were determined by the Employees’ Old-Age Benefits Institution (EOBI) and published in their advertisements. LUMS and the EOBI will determine eligibility based on the information provided by the candidates. Successful candidates in the written test shall appear in the interview to be scheduled and conducted by the EOBI, Ministry of Overseas Pakistani's & Human Resource Development. LUMS or its faculty or staff has no control on the interview cycle. In no event shall LUMS or its faculty and staff be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage caused or alleged to be caused by the acts of the EOBI on which LUMS or its written test team has no direct or indirect control. Consulting and advising the government is a desirable activity through which LUMS faculty share knowledge and expertise with the outside world to help improve products, services, and processes. The LUMS Team for the written tests has no conflicts of interest, and the tests reflect well on the faculty, their profession, and university.

NOTE: EOBI will conduct a detailed scrutiny of the educational credentials, domicile, and other essential documents of the successful candidates at the time of the interview, or even after the interviews until the formal appointment for the vacant posts, in accordance with the rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Pakistan.
